About us
RTsafe was founded in 2014 by medical physics professors with considerable experience in the field of radiation oncology, aiming to address the issue of quality assurance in radiotherapy.
RTsafe expanded rapidly and established collaborations with renowned hospitals and academic institutions thanks to the exceptional teamwork of its experienced scientists and software developers. Our customers’ confidence in our products and services make us feel proud and inspires us to keep thinking forward and constantly improve the quality of our solutions.
Helping to create a world where every radiotherapy intervention is tested on a personalized phantom before the real patient, thus contributing to the safety and effectiveness of treatment.
Vision
Helping to create a world where every radiotherapy intervention is tested on a personalized phantom before the real patient, thus contributing to the safety and effectiveness of treatment.
Our Technology
RTsafe offers dosimetry services which incorporate phantoms built from real patient anatomical data by combining proven expertise in medical physics with highly accurate 3D printing technology.
Point, 2D or 3D dosimetry can be implemented using these dosimetry phantoms. Planning CT scanning, Treatment Planning, Set-up/Immobilization, Image Guidance and Treatment delivery are applied to the RTsafe phantoms as if they are real living patients. This approach results in a true End-to-End QA testing that incorporates all links of the treatment chain.

Patent
RTsafe’s vision is to make Stereotactic Radiosurgery / Radiotherapy (SRS/SRT) more efficient and accessible with patient-specific quality control procedures that enhance patient safety and empower confidence in using such challenging and advanced radiotherapy techniques. RTsafe’s complete armamentarium of solutions (personalized and generic, using 1, 2 and 3D dosimetry services) is currently offered to the whole radiotherapy community by a growing network of distributors worldwide. The patent concerns Personalized (i.e. patient-specific) Radiotherapy Treatment Verification and Quality Assurance.

Testimonials
Encephalon 3D Limitless SRS - We’ve lacked the ability to evaluate a real clinical delivery of 3D dose to multiple off-axis targets sharing a single isocenter with one independent tool. But now we can! I am an impressed customer and grateful physicist, grateful to have such a comprehensive tool to evaluate our most important and critical type of treatment delivery, SRS to multiple lesions at one time. To us, this kind of 3D dose feedback is a major step forward for the world of QA.
