Philips specifies RTsafe for Pinnacle treatment planning system

RTsafe is delighted to announce its collaboration with the Radiation Oncology Systems division of Philips. RTsafe’s innovative technology is used for commissioning, benchmarking and periodic end-to-end personalized quality assurance services for the ‘Pinnacle3’ treatment planning system.

Philips’s Pinnacle3 provides fast, accurate and interactive treatment planning tools. Fully integrated photon, electron, stereotaxy, brachytherapy, simulation, image fusion, and IMRT options allow the clinical user to perform treatment planning tasks from a single platform. RTsafe patient specific phantoms are proving an ideal quality assurance tool during planning procedures.
